Where did NLP come from?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming was developed by John Grinder (an Associate Professor of Linguistics) and Dr. Richard Bandler (a Mathematician) in the 1970s at the University of California, where they both worked.
They developed NLP to master excellence by studying people who were very accomplished. For example, the two founders first studied masters in the field of therapy. They found distinct similarities between these therapists who excelled at their craft. They incorporated these patterns of thought and behavior into their NLP program to help others achieve the same success. -
